I wanted to say - other than talking about the bloody credit crunch, let's talk about Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand ! What a couple of idiots! What they said on Andrew Sachs answerphone was unpleasant and very school-boy-ish but does everyone else wonder why there's such an almighty fuss over it? I know it must have been awful for Andrew (bless him) but does it really warrant all this press attention? and even comments from high level politicians? still I suppose it does make a change .. I'm so sick of hearing about how we are all doomed ....

The trouble is that most newspapers and TV stations seem to want to predict the news rather than just actually report it - and thats why we get statements like 'inflation could get worse, house prices could fall as much as X% , loans and mortgage may be difficult to get' etc etc and as for the hours of comment on Ross and Bland - I agree its better than doom and gloom but only just . Lets have some good news or at least some balanced forecasts ....House prices have fallen in some parts of the country but remain a good investment in others , now could be a good time to buy if you can get the finance, there is finance available out there, you just must do your research to find it etc etc
Surely its not just me that thinks this way?
