I get annoyed

I just wanted to say well done to your journalists who at least try to be positive about the economy. I do get annoyed when I listen to the BBC bleeting on constantly about house prices falling, mortgages being hard to come by etc etc in the end it all becomes a self fulfilling phrophecy.

I couldn't agree more - the media especially the BBC seem to love reporting doom and gloom stories endlessly. Its got so bad that I usually turn the news off nowadays. I know we are going through some hard times and I appreciate that we need to know about the economic crisis but I firmly believe that these reports are actually making the situation far worse than it is. We have to believe that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, which I think there is - this situation will turn round eventually.
